Delayed Visa & Permanent Residence Permits Submissions & Pending Appeals – Excessive Delays
Circumstances
A visa or permanent residence permit application has been submitted either in South Africa or abroad but is subject to excessive delays.
- The visa application or a pending appeal is now subject to a delay over one or two months without finalisation.
- The permanent residence application is now subject to a delay over eight months without finalisation.
Our Proposal
Smiedt & Associates will assist and consider the merits of the pending application, and if complete, or if it requires further documentary support, and the papers are the best they can be, we will prepare court papers to expedite or finalise the pending application.
We will attend court or settle with the legal representatives of the Department before the court date and obtain commitment to finalise in a matter of days.
All you have to do is sign off the court papers for accuracy and we will do the rest in finalising the applications.
